Job Summary Prevea Health is seeking two highly motivated pre-med students to join our team as interns! As a Pre-med Intern you will have the opportunity to shadow experienced healthcare professionals in our clinic setting and gain exposure to various specialties. You will gain practical knowledge and skills related to medicine, patient care, and healthcare administration. These interns will also be expected to identify and present a research project in the clinical department of their choosing with a focus on quality improvement. What you will do Shadow healthcare professionals in various departments to gain knowledge and skills Conduct research and data analysis related to Prevea healthcare policies, procedures, and best practices Participate in meetings and discussions related to patient care and healthcare management Education Qualifications Must be a current pre-med student or recent graduate Required Skills and Abilities Communicate effectively with employees throughout the organization in a proactive and positive manner, as well as possess the ability to motivate in order to accomplish the goals of the department and the clinic. Positive attitude in dealing with people in adverse situations. Engages in active listening by giving full attention to what others are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions as appropriate. Promotes teamwork and provides a supportive environment for staff in the assigned departments and throughout the organization.
