Scope of Work: The Maintenance Planner ensures that all aircraft maintenance is tracked, scheduled, and completed to ensure aircraft meets all regulatory and mandatory requirements. Responsibilities:
- Extensive research of OEM maintenance documentation.
- Ensure that all the necessary Task Cards are included to undertake the job in accordance with the Workscope
- Verifies Work Package against Workscope, Tally, Pre-draw lists, Task Cards, and any discrepancies; research Service Bulletin and ADs required; completes data and enters company's information system
- Research MPDs and other OEM/FAA requirements for relevant Task Cards and their inclusion based on Workscope
- Analyzes aircraft requirements for applicable aircraft to ensure concurrent maintenance requirements can be planned, material requirements are identified, tooling is available and scheduled
- Coordinate with IPC to ensure timely arrival and location of parts required to accomplish time limited maintenance
- Communicate and work closely with Maintenance Manager
- Conducts periodic audits of the technical documents for the respective tasks as the project progresses
- Maintain a highly organized work environment
- Strive for continuous improvement in execution and delivery of work
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Consistently produces quality products and service.
- Completes all training within required timeline.
- Performs all work in a safe and secure manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Has had diversified maintenance experience on large aircraft with an Air Carrier, Commercial Operator or Certified Repair Station
- Very knowledgeable of Excel
- Familiarity with MPDs, technical procedural and OEM maintenance documentation
- Proficient Computer user with working knowledge of online research and usage of OEM portals
- Good written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff from different departments effectively
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of where to find relevant information
- Boeing 737MPD and /or MSG3 Maintenance Programs
- Has experience with a Maintenance Tracking Software Preferably CAMP's
- Large Aircraft Maintenance Planning.
- A&P license preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Must possess the ability to interact well with others in a team setting ability or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
- Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
- Highly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail oriented.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
- Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
- Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
- Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.
- Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
