POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Enablement Manager will lead the development and execution of strategies, tools, and methodologies that empower the sales team to drive revenue growth and enhance overall sales performance. This position plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between sales strategy and execution, ensuring that sales teams are equipped with the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary to succeed in the competitive industrial distribution market. The Sales Enablement Manager will work closely with sales leadership, sales operations, marketing, product management, HR and other key departments to align sales efforts with business goals and customer needs, ultimately enabling a high-performing, results-driven sales organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that supports the company's sales goals and objectives.
  • Align sales enablement initiatives with business priorities, ensuring a clear connection between the sales team's activities and organizational goals.
  • Create, implement, and manage ongoing training programs that enhance the sales team's skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify knowledge gaps and ensure that training materials are up-to-date and relevant to the sales process.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new sales team members to ensure they are fully equipped to perform from day one.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement sales tools and technology that enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure the sales team has access to effective sales collateral, presentations, and product information, tailored to customer segments.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of a central sales resource hub, where the sales team can easily access key materials.
  • Work closely with sales leadership and sales operations to develop performance metrics and dashboards that track sales productivity, effectiveness, and outcomes.
  • Use data and analytics to measure the impact of sales enablement programs and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on key sales performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to understand the needs and challenges of the sales team and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Partner with marketing to ensure alignment between sales and marketing efforts, particularly in terms of messaging, content, and customer targeting.
  • All other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:



  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales methodology, technical and product training.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
  • Industry client relations experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, valid auto insurance coverage, and access to a vehicle.
  • A flexible work schedule and occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel are expected, up to 40%.
