Position: Patient Access Representative
Remote after 2-3 week onsite training. Must be located in CT to qualify. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Patient Access Representative to join the team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth patient access and administrative support within our healthcare system. The ideal candidate will have experience with EPIC and at least 1-2+ years of administrative healthcare experience. Key Responsibilities: * Manage patient scheduling, registration, and verification processes using EPIC. * Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into electronic health records (EHR). * Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to facilitate efficient patient access. * Handle a high volume of phone calls from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, ensuring all inquiries are addressed efficiently and professionally. * Assist patients with appointment scheduling and follow-up, providing clear and concise information. * Resolve patient issues related to billing, insurance, and general inquiries through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Qualifications: * Minimum of 2-3+ years of administrative healthcare experience. * Proficiency in EPIC systems. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. * Must be located in the state of Connecticut. Training will be fully onsite for 2-3 weeks in New Haven, CT before moving to fully remote. * Once remote - all equipment is provided. You will just need a quiet workspace and the internet access. Details: * Pay: $20 - $22/hr. based on related experience. * After 6 months, employees qualify for an hourly pay increase. * Pay cycle - weekly | medical, dental and vision benefits offered * Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm. 1 hour lunch break (37.5 hours per week) * Training: The selected candidate must be available for onsite training in New Haven, CT for 2-3 weeks to ensure a smooth transition into the remote role. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
