Minimum requirements:



  • Work safely in a drug-free environment and submit to post offer & random drug/alcohol screening.
  • Work an irregular schedule, including early mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays.
  • Timely & regular attendance is essential.
  • Heavy equipment operation and knowledge.
  • 2+ years experience in diagnosing/troubleshooting, repair, & maintenance of diesel heavy equipment and construction vehicles.
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience with computer diagnosing.
  • Read, interpret, analyze, and apply information from technical manuals, schematics, and computer diagnostics.
  • Must be willing to travel to different work sites.
  • Willingness to cross train in crusher maintenance.
  • Self-motivated, team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must maintain positive attitude and act courteous and respectful toward others.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions and in a noisy, dusty environment.
  • Must be able to work safely in a busy environment with moving machinery.
  • Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. several times throughout the day.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Current driver's license & clean driving record.


Preferred requirements:



  • 5+ years experience diagnosing/troubleshooting, repair, & maintenance of heavy equipment.
  • Operation of front end loader, dozer and/or excavator.
  • MSHA certification.
  • Heavy mechanic certification or degree from an accredited program.
  • Welding experience.
  • Have own tools.
