Job Overview:


We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager to support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for our Biopharma & Pharma Solutions (BPS) SBU. In this pivotal role, you will provide oversight, coordination, and planning to execute financial planning processes and ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of financial information for the BPS business. This role will be focused on closing activities, forecast/AOP planning, and driving performance analysis on revenue, manufacturing cost, SG&A, and free cash flow. The FP&A Manager will report to the Director, Finance - BPS and work closely with functional leaders to articulate the performance narrative, drive decision-making, and provide financial insights that support long-term goals. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Sales and Manufacturing analytics, possess expertise in financial modeling, and be able to communicate complex concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis


  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, processes, and strategic initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions.

  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing insights to senior management.



Reporting & Insights


  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

  • Analyze financial performance (Sales, Cost, and Margin), identifying risks and opportunities for improvement, and presenting actionable recommendations.



Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Sales leaders to gather inputs for financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring comprehensive and accurate financial planning.

  • Partner with various leaders to evaluate new initiatives and investment opportunities, providing financial insights to support decision-making.



Strategic Support


  • Support strategic initiatives and projects by providing financial analysis and guidance on profitability, cost control, and resource allocation.

  • Assist in the development of long-term financial strategies, including capital expenditure planning and investment analysis.



Team Leadership


  • Coach others and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Manage workflow and priorities, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial insights and reports.



Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced (such as Master's or MBA) is desired

  • Position requires 6+ years of diverse financial experience, including financial planning, reporting and analysis, general accounting, cost accounting, and internal controls



Core Competencies


  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes

  • Solid financial acumen, analytical, problem solving, data management, and business partnership skills with careful attention to detail

  • Familiar with Manufacturing business, concepts, reporting

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, and then summarize and communicate the key messages simply and succinctly to team members at all levels of the organization

  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation; drive for continuous improvement

  • Collaborative team player, self-motivated, and process improvement mind set

  • Strong organization and time management skills; able to handle several assignments at one time while working in a matrix organization
