Description

Save the Children

For over 100 years, Save the Children has been fighting for the rights of children. The right to a healthy start in life. To have access to education. To be in a safe environment, protected from harm. We work in some of the world's hardest-to-reach places - over 100 countries, including the U.S. No matter what your role is, when you join Save the Children, you're creating positive, irreversible change for children, and the future we all share.

Save the Children's Policy, Advocacy, and Campaigns- Government Relations department (PAC-GR) leads on developing evidence-based policy recommendations and targeted advocacy and campaign strategies for children most impacted by inequality and discrimination. We work with political leadership and other duty-bearers to drive change in U.S. foreign policy, as well as relevant regional and international policies and practices that empower children and families around the world.

The Role

As the Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy Fellow, you'll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. You will support the policy and advocacy work of the PAC-GR Humanitarian Advocacy Team (HAT). You will have a U.S. foreign policy focus and will provide critical support to the team's advocacy by tracking, analyzing, and contributing to the creation of advocacy products and execution of advocacy activities related to the needs of children affected by conflict and disaster.

This funded fellowship is available for the summer of 2025 through a partnership with the University of Michigan Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and Save the Children.
