The System Integration Engineer will provide systems engineering support for the design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, maintenance and continual enhancement for a variety of Army ground combat vehicle systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Identify, engineer, implement, and verify new designs and configuration of System Integration Benches, robotic vehicles, cables and harnesses, etc. to enhance usability and maintainability.

Provide electrical, mechanical and software support to Combat Vehicle system bench planning, design, development, and execution.

Work in a team environment with our Army customer and DCS Engineers.

Customize CAN bus, Ethernet network, RS-170 video feeds, RS-232 serial interfaces to maintain SIL compatibility with evolving vehicle systems designs.

Coordinate with government personnel to plan, coordinate and execute activities.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems encountered with system bench equipment and robotic vehicles.

Develop Subject Matter Expertise on a variety of combat vehicle subsystems.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Experience with embedded, or on-board, vehicle computer systems such as Multi-Function Displays, Power Distribution and Management, Drivers Vision or SA Enhancement.

Experience designing military vehicle cables.

Familiar with Systems Engineering and Software Engineering processes.

Experience with one or more of the following: LabVIEW, CAN Bus, MIL-STD 1553, Ethernet, Serial Bus Interfaces.

Familiar with military communications equipment for Ground Combat Vehicles.

Ability to travel to various customer and contractor facilities and test centers (10% Travel).

Desired Skills:

Experience with US Army Ground Combat Vehicle System Electronics Hardware and Software. Experience with Simulation and Emulation.
