OSP/ISP Engineering Operations Manager Category: Telecom Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-383956 We are looking for a motivated manager to lead our outside and inside plant engineering teams. This role involves planning, designing, and executing fiber optic and broadband projects to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions. Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage engineering staff, including engineers, drafters, and field personnel. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of OSP/ISP engineering experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role. Experience with rural broadband or large-scale FTTH projects. Knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, TIA/EIA, RUS). Experience with public utilities and municipalities. Strong understanding of fiber optic network design and splicing. Familiarity with permitting, pole attachments, ROW, and construction processes. Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, GIS tools, fiber design platforms). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and with remote teams. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with high accuracy. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience). PMP or similar certification is a plus. Duties & Responsibilities: Lead and manage engineering teams. Oversee the design and engineering of fiber networks. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and compliant with standards. Develop and maintain engineering standards and documentation. Collaborate with construction, permitting, GIS, and network operations teams. Support network expansion and upgrades. Manage vendor relationships and evaluate engineering tools/software. Provide technical guidance and mentorship. Prepare and present project updates and reports to leadership. Assist with interviewing and disciplinary actions. Estimated Min Rate: $98000.00 Estimated Max Rate: $140000.00 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
