About the role
The Asset Manager will assist the VP of Asset Management with developing and executing business plans for each multifamily asset, along with evaluating the overall performance and health of the of the multifamily portfolio.

You may be eligible for a $500 net sign on bonus to be paid out in your first paycheck

What you'll be doing



  • Monitor performance trends against budget and long-term objectives through proactive forecasting and analysis.
  • Monitor leasing, maintenance, and tenant satisfaction trends.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to ensure asset performance is aligned with local trends, pricing dynamics and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with Property Management to develop and review capital plans
  • Review annual budgets for each asset prepared by Property Management
  • Ensure compliance with legal document provisions including loan documents, partnership, and operating agreements
  • Coordinate with Property Management to ensure that local regulations/inspections are adequately managed.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to assess maintenance and operational performance.
  • Work with outside consultants on real estate tax assessment reviews.
  • Liaise with investment partners and lenders on asset level decisions and reporting project performance
  • Provide insight into leasing and management trends for future underwriting
  • Participate in strategic investment planning process internally and with equity partners
  • Assist in providing rent and expense benchmarks for underwriting new assets
  • And other duties as assigned and travel to sites as needed-
  • Percent of travel- 25-35% (varies; 1-2x per month)
  • Hybrid in Malvern Office

Who we're looking for



  • BA or BS degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years asset management experience in conventional multifamily real estate required. Experience in both conventional multifamily and student housing preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel. Understanding of return-on-investment concepts / benchmarks.
  • Understanding of commonly used real estate concepts used within multifamily operations and ownership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possession of a valid state issues driver's license and safe driving record are required
