Juniper Test Engineering
Seeking test engineers to help automate tests for Juniper suite of networking products including routers, switches and various other software applications. PDT Test engineer at Juniper Networks will gain exciting real-world test automation capabilities along with industry standard business best practices at a thriving networking company.
As part of product deployment test engineering, it is a highly technical role, responsible for providing solid support of Juniper's Networking Products that involve customer-specific tests for a release, product, or solution.This role requires to develop and maintain expertise on the products deployed within the Specific Customer Networks. The Candidate should be knowledgeablein networking fundamentals, well vast in L3 protocols andexperience in both manual & automation testing. Basic Qualifications:
- BS/ MS / M.Tech degree
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Internet Protocols: TCP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6
- Networking Protocols:BGP,OSPF/ISIS,ARP,VLANS, MPLS, L3VPN, MC-LAG, LACP, L2VPN, VPLS, Multicast, EVPN-VXLAN etc.
- Test Knowledge: Prepare Test Plans, Test Execution, Understanding of Complex Customer Networks.
- Automation: Experience in automated test execution, ability to debug automation failures, and narrow down software issues from test results and logs. Knowledge in Python or any other scripting language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in a vast set of Enterprise and Data Centre Technologies.
- Working with Development Functional and System Test Teams to analyze test coverage and gaps.
- Building Test topology for functionality, solution, and scale testing.
- Device Level configuration for routers and switches.
- Test Plan writing and Creating Automation Scripts.
- Test Automation Frameworks, tools, and scripting languages (Perl, Python, Robot framework, Go)
- Clear communication on test results and test finding (explanation of software defect encounter during testing)
- Preferably havepreviousexperience with JUNOS
- Networking Certifications are a plus.
- Familiarand Hands-Onwith traffic generation tool (Ixia, Spirent, etc.)
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative team player, relationship building skills.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in testing efforts that include solution testing, scale testing, migration testing, certification testing, etc.
- Work with Development Functional and System Test Teams to analyze test coverage and gaps.
- Automate and execute test case by both manually & automated way.
- Produce a written report of assign project's deliverables such as test progress found software defect technical details etc.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defect and work with appropriate Juniper engineering resources to close the problems with customer satisfaction.
- Participate in design and information gathering workshops with the Customer to understand, the Customer's existing network design, and technical requirements of new network designs.
- Write test plan based on customer solution requirement.

#LI-AHUYNH #LI-PRIORITY Minimum Salary: $102,400.48 Maximum Salary:$147,198.90 The pay range for this position is expected to be between $102,400.48 and $147,198.90/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
