*This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week in the office, based out of Hanover, PA.

As a Deduction Analyst at Utz, you'll be in the driver's seat when it comes to managing, analyzing, and resolving customer deductions. Your expertise will ensure everything aligns perfectly with trade promotion agreements and our internal policies. This role involves thoroughly validating deductions against relevant promotional events and expenses, adhering to established guidelines to maintain accuracy and compliance. Deduction Analysts acquire a deep understanding of customer trade promotion dynamics and expense patterns, providing support to Coordinators and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Thoroughly validate deductions against relevant promotional events and expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of managed customers' trade promotion dynamics and expense patterns, enabling effective resolution and prevention of future discrepancies.
• Provide direct support to the Deduction Coordinator, assisting with problem-solving and research to resolve routine and complex deduction issues.
• Utilize all available data sources to monitor open deductions, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing financial risk.
• Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in deductions and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Revenue Management, to resolve issues related to trade promotions and expenses.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience: 2+ years in Finance/Accounting, Trade Marketing, or Deduction Management (ideally in the CPG industry).
• Expertise: A deep understanding of trade promotions, expenses, and deduction processes.
• Skills:




• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills that help you make sense of complex data.
• The ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and on point.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to perform at levels to meet peak demands in periods of high volume and activity.
