Position Summary:

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.

In the Vice President, Sales - Acute position, you'll lead Direct Supply's efforts to grow and retain business with large, multi-location customers in the acute care market. You'll oversee the National Accounts and Corporate Account teams, developing strategic business plans, driving sales and margin growth, and ensuring the successful execution of key initiatives.

As a member of the Senior Sales Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for leading account planning efforts, ensuring customer expectations are met, and representing the full range of Direct Supply products and services. You'll also play a key role in shaping the overall sales organization by recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing sales talent, while driving growth across all Lines of Business.

This position works within our Products Solution Group.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Lead the Acute sales team to achieve assigned revenue and margin targets.

  • Develop and execute business plans and sales strategies to drive goal attainment and profitability.

  • Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of national account management professionals.

  • Partner with senior executives to align Direct Supply leadership with key accounts and top growth opportunities across all Lines of Business.

  • Manage team expenses within budget to support company profitability objectives.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create strategic approaches for managing national account customers at both individual and aggregate levels.

  • Analyze customer needs, competitive landscape, services, metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities and enhance Direct Supply's value proposition.

  • Establish sales forecasts and budgets for assigned accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations.

  • Lead the team in delivering impactful business reviews and sales presentations.

  • Create and deliver customer presentations as needed.

  • Communicate regularly with internal teams, including Senior Management, sharing insights on team performance, customer needs, and market trends.

  • Contribute to the performance and strategic direction of the Equipment & Furnishings business unit as an active member of the Senior Sales Leadership team.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 10+ years of strategic B2B sales experience, with a strong record of success.

  • 5+ years of sales management experience, leading high-performing teams.

  • Strong understanding of sales strategy, financial analysis, budgeting, and overall business operations.

  • Deep knowledge of the Senior Living marketplace, including financial drivers and provider needs.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed aggressive sales targets.

  • Highly developed presentation skills, with experience engaging senior-level stakeholders.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to consistently travel out-of-state up to 50%

  • Valid, unexpired driver's license with a good driving record required
