Stockroom Clerk - Short-Haul Driver

As a Short-Haul Driver/Stockroom Clerk, you'll be primarily responsible for transporting components via company truck between StandardAero and Outside Vendors within a 150-mile radius of StandardAero.

What you'll do:



  • Primarily transporting component repair parts via truck between StandardAero and our Outside Service Vendors in a safe yet timely manner.
  • Be the "face" of StandardAero with out Outside Service Vendors as you deliver and pick up components.
  • Maintaining miles and maintenance records for the company truck.
  • Ensuring the company truck is maintained to DOT standards.
  • Communicating with Outside Service Vendors to ensure that correct parts are being collected and delivered back to StandardAero.
  • Operating a forklift to receive deliveries, send shipments and move product within StandardAero.
  • Receiving parts and material into applicable inventories.
  • Issuing parts and materials to work orders per reservations or requests.
  • Completing inventory audits and investigating discrepancies.
  • General administrative tasks and duties to ensure department efficiencies.
  • Exercise good housekeeping: all responsible areas to be kept clean and tidy.
  • Develop and manage Continuous Improvement initiatives in your assigned area.


Position Requirements:



  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Demonstrated experience working with minimal supervision or direction.
  • Strong problem solving, reasoning and decision-making skills in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail with good computer skills.
  • Desire to grow, learn and work in a team environment.
  • A keen focus on health and safety, productivity & throughput, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb.


Preferred Characteristics:



  • DOT medical certification (not necessarily required prior to hire)
  • Current forklift certification
  • Experience in inventory control, warehouse flow, document compliance
