Role:

The VP, Industry Executive Advisor will serve as a dynamic thought leader in Customer Experience (CX) within the Telco, Utilities, and High Tech sectors. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to prospects, clients, partners, and colleagues, demonstrating unparalleled industry expertise.

In this high-impact role, the VP will work with a collaborative team of industry experts, solutions architects, and marketing professionals. The primary focus will be on driving and accelerating revenue growth by enhancing Medallia's market presence and fostering product adoption across our Retail clients. The role is hands-on and customer-facing. The Industry Executive Advisor will be engaging in strategic deals, expansions, and ongoing advisory relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Marketing and Operation leaders to identify new areas of opportunity, mitigate risks and deliver on goals
  • Elevate Medallia's public profile through the creation of thought-leadership content, participating in events, speaking engagements and producing publications.
  • Focus on driving commercial results through strategic insights, thought leadership, market awareness, and deal support
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and expansion through product solutioning, identification of buyer personas, and a deep understanding of the needs and CX challenges that are specific to the Telco/Utilities industry

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the Telco, Utilities, and/or High Tech industries
  • Experience with the Medallia product suite is required
  • Prior experience launching, transforming, or optimizing a Customer Experience (CX) or Voice of Customer (VoC) program
  • This role is based in the US and will require approximately 25-30% travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Sales and/or consulting experience a plus

Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $206,000-$274,000 USD. This position is commission-eligible. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
