Job Summary

The VMS Pay and Bill Specialist role will be responsible for auditing and resolving transactional issues related to time, pay, and bill for our VMS (Vendor Management System) business, with the goal of maximizing profitability across a portfolio of VMS clients.

Your Role & Responsibilities




  • Oversee a portfolio of VMS clients focusing on accurate revenue recognition, payroll data, customer pricing and contractual obligations. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between clients and Employbridge records.
  • Ensure time pay and bill remains aligned in Employbridge systems and the VMS for all assigned client accounts. Investigate and resolve variances between the VMS and Employbridge pay and bill systems.
  • Perform post pay/bill audits on a scheduled cycle to determine and execute corrective action for all VMS clients within assigned portfolio.
  • Partner with MSP, client, field teams, cash application and collection teams to resolve outstanding time, pay and bill discrepancies.
  • Continuously monitor and audit the VMS and Employbridge systems for additional or modified entries. Escalate discrepancies to the appropriate teams for approved action and resolution.
  • Identify and report when outstanding AR is uncollectible after all efforts have been exhausted and work with appropriate teams for approved action and resolution.
  • Maintain and exercise accurate record keeping and reporting on progress, issues, and escalations.



Preferred Education & Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field or 3+ years relevant work experience analyzing and/or organizing large data sets.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel expertise, with the ability to design reporting templates, and prior use of pivot tables, v-lookups, conditional formatting, multiple formulas, macros and queries.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; personable, approachable, and willing to help others.
  • Ability to build and foster internal and external customer relationships.
  • Experience using various technology platforms to drive effective decisions.



Your Work Environment (Physical Demands)

Remote/Hybrid: Typically work is performed either in an office environment or a suitable workspace to conduct business free of distractions and background noise. This position requires compliance for all occupational safety and health standards, rules, and regulations. Below are a few standards specific for this position:

  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate in writing.

The anticipated hourly pay for this position in the US is $20.25/hour. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
