Job Summary

The Technical Lead is an integral part of the internal Employbridge Engineering team. This individual will work side by side with the outsourced team providing technical expertise, historical context, and Employbridge (EB) -specific knowledge and guidance to the team.

This role will oversee our Globant partner engineers, ensuring their code aligns with EB standards and best practices through regular reviews and check-ins. They will lead discussions on software development strategies, structure meetings to align on implementation plans, and proactively identify potential challenges.

Serving as the critical technical bridge between the offshore outsourced team and the internal engineering organization, the Technical Lead will play a key role in safeguarding EB's technology investments, ensuring the company receives both the expected quality and value. Tech Leads will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, actively participating in problem-solving and design discussions to ensure the right solutions are built effectively.

Your Role & Responsibilities



  • Manage Confluence pages and maintain up-to-date documentation.
  • Coordinate deployments with infrastructure teams and attend weekly ETS calls.
  • Participate in design sessions and reviews to ensure scalable and strategic solutions.
  • Identify and share risks and historical lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain a strong rapport with Globant engineers and leadership.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Analyze requirements and help identify suitable applications or solutions to meet business needs.
  • Guide the team in overcoming complex technical challenges and roadblocks.
  • Be available on-call as needed for T3 support escalations and Major Incident Management (MIM).
  • Monitor code quality and development processes, reporting issues to Engineering and Globant partners.
  • Provide expertise in respective areas to support and advise Partner teammates.
  • Ensure DevOps processes follow best practices and maintain proper documentation for business continuity and long-term retention.


Preferred Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing software development architectures.
  • Experience working with outsourced engineering development teams is a plus.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position in the US is $160,000 to $180,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
