We're looking for a contract AI Content Writer to support a 3-month initiative to transform our internal knowledge base into structured, AI-optimized content. This work directly supports our internal AI tooling for customer support, helping improve knowledge retrieval and automation. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented writer interested in the intersection of content and AI. You'll receive training in machine-readable content best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply those principles across a high-impact knowledge base. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Rewrite and structure existing knowledge base content for machine readability. Optimize content for clarity, consistency, and AI interpretability. Apply training in AI-driven content strategy to improve internal tooling performance. Collaborate with Content, Machine Learning, and Process Specialists. Align rewritten content with internal standards and formatting best practices. - Consumer content going to rewrite internal knowledge base which powers customer support agents and everything for talking points and emails etc - Taking content and restructuring and rewriting in a procedural format, a few hundred articles, for readability - Strong attention to detail, strong writing, strong editing for AI and most likely will not have AI skills but will teach it - Focused on strong writers, day to day chain review of content working with machine learning and process specialist to take existing content and find gaps and then do AI content writing, they have to work with process specialists because they won't know what to do - Contentful is the CMS they use and will prioritize this* - A few years of writing at least - Copywriter or editing experience - Prioritize internal document writing versus marketing experience - CX (customer experience) content is good - help center content is a benefit - content for customer support - Someone who knows customer support - Agentic AI they are using - 3 years + degree *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $56.67 - $56.67/hr.
