Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Patient Scheduler to support with scheduling for ultrasound imaging, CT's, MRI's, etc. This role involves efficiently arranging patient visits and coordinating communication among healthcare providers, patients, and support staff. The ideal candidate will manage incoming call volumes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations through effective communication and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: * Communicate with patients via phone to provide appointment details and pre-procedure instructions. * Coordinate patient schedules with available appointment times, imaging availability, and provider availability. * Maximize resource efficiency by scheduling appointments to enhance workflow and reduce patient wait times. * Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries, appointment changes, and coordination of care. * Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling requests. * Enter patient demographic information and appointment details into electronic medical records systems. * Provide assistance and support to patients throughout the scheduling process. * Ensure timely and accurate preparation of patient charts and relevant documentation. * Arrange transportation services for patients requiring assistance with travel to and from appointments. * Collaborate with providers, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care and resolve scheduling conflicts. Education & Experience: * High School Graduate/GED required. * Previous clerical experience required, with medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology. * Proficiency in using scheduling software and electronic medical records systems. * Prior expereince with scheduling patient procedures, medical appointments or imaging required. * Excellent telephone communication skills and computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel and Word. Skills & Requirements: * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Empathetic and compassionate demeanor with a commitment to high-quality patient care. * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
