Acara Solutions is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist
to work onsite with our client in Burbank, CA
Here is what you will do:
The Inventory Control Specialist wills primarily responsible for all incoming repair units and accessories onto the PC via CRM,
ensuring all the customer's information is correct in the system and matches with the paperwork received, ensuring products are
accurately stored and coordinating with external vendors and internal departments to ensure shipments are accurate.

$18.00 - $35.00 (Depending on Experience)
Shift:
8:00 am to 4:30pm (Mon-Fri)
Flexibility:
Occasional Overtime evenings and weekends per business needs
Responsibilities:
- Incoming Materials Management: Receive incoming materials, conduct thorough inspections, and accurately pick materials for outbound shipments.
- Return Shipments Handling: Manage return shipments, including collecting recycled or replaced materials, verifying items, and processing them in the system.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory counts, maintain accurate records, and identify discrepancies to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Storage Optimization: Reorganize storage locations to maximize space utilization and streamline workflow efficiency, ensuring easy access to materials.
- Packaging and Shipping: Pack recycled or return-refund items in sturdy cartons and build pallets for shipping, ensuring proper handling and labeling for transportation.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Scan and record all actions in the shared document system for incoming DOA replacement/Sales refund/Return items, maintaining comprehensive records for reference. Record/upload information to the system.
- Quality Control: Open packages, verify physical condition, check warranty status, take detailed pictures, and perform basic function checks to ensure the quality and functionality of returned items.
- Repair Support: Collaborate with repair teams to facilitate the repair process for defective items, providing necessary documentation and support as needed.
- Prepare incoming components for inspection.
- Ensure the information in the system is accurate and aligned with shipments
- Display the products on the workstation, take pictures of the products and upload them to the system.
- Log the customer's product and accessories onto the PC via the CRM program.
- Count, verify and confirm incoming materials to match the system or document stated PN or item description and quantity. Put away to correct assigned storage location. Update information to the system or tracking document
- Process internal or external orders and generate paperwork. Pick available material from inventory location or report out-of-stock. Fulfill orders and deduct release items from the booking system
- Update product information or status in the system to maintain records of material transaction
- Tracks all incoming and outgoing products from our facility
- Organize after-repair materials in the waste dump area to prepare for scrap
- Work with the Shipping carrier to verify any lost items ex. Missing batteries, solve any complicated cases.
- Connect with the customer representative team when an issue arises
- Coordinate with other departments
- International/Domestic shipping handling, Return to sender package handling.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous Shipping and Inventory Control experience
- Minimum 1-year warehouse experience required
- Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel required
- Previous experience using Internet Software; Word Processing Software (Word, Excel); Google Docs Software
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of frequently lifting up to 15 pounds, and occasionally up to 65 pounds (HB scanner) for a maximum of 50 feet.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- AA Degree or Technical education
- Mechanic quality assessment experience
- 2 years of warehouse experience preferred
- Knowledge of electronic terminology is preferred (ex. volts)
- Camera knowledge preferred
- Certificate-HAZMAT certificate preferred
- US Customs experience
