Job Summary
The HRIS Coordinator performs routine administrative tasks in support of the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) function.

Primary Objectives
  • Support Human Resources Information System (HRIS) data management, reporting, audit, calculation, and controls.
  • Perform basic HRIS administration tasks including user setup/access, data maintenance, and workflow processing.
  • Provide end user support including email inquiries support, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance of user documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform general HRIS administration and user support including, but not limited to, setup of new users, change of access requests, basic troubleshooting and demonstrations of system functionality.
  • Respond to inquiries and track HRIS service requests, open and monitor services tickets with HRIS vendors, and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Use existing tools to perform routine data audits, quality monitoring, and data calculation support.
  • Research, resolve, and document data discrepancies.
  • Prepare, modify, and distribute routine reports, charts, and data files.
  • Under direct supervision of HRIS management, perform basic HRIS system table and configuration setup and maintenance.
  • Review, update, and document procedures, job aides, and guidelines.
  • Review workflow changes in system for processing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (HSED) required
Work Experience
  • 2+ years' experience in a related HR support position required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of HR/employment regulations and practices.
  • Ability to effectively articulate and explain features, processes, calculations, and configurations to non-technical end users/clients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of tact and discretion.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks with appropriate levels of urgency.
  • Demonstrated intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
