SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Financial Analyst to join our finance team and focus on supporting our Information Technology (IT) function. This role offers a fast-paced environment where you collaborate closely with IT leadership to drive financial planning, investment analysis, and process improvements. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing our technology investments and ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals. This position is ideal for a proactive financial professional eager to influence the strategic direction of IT investments and drive financial excellence within a leading organization
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for the IT department, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate objectives.
Investment Evaluation: Partner with the business to create financial analyses of proposed IT tools and technology stack investments, assessing their potential return on investment and strategic fit.
Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings within IT operations without compromising service quality and suggest strategies to achieve these efficiencies.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT and finance teams to streamline financial processes, enhancing accuracy and reducing cycle times.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the financial performance of IT initiatives and projects.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications an advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in financial analysis, prior experience supporting IT a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines and regulations.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $99,216-$153,784.

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
