Here's what you'd do:

• We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer for a short-term contract position.
• This role needs a hands-on approach and the ability to quickly translate design concepts into functional components.
• Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Generate detailed engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Select and order appropriate materials and components.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to ensure design feasibility.
• Assist with prototype assembly and testing.
• Troubleshoot and revise designs based on testing and feedback.

• Pay rate: $59.88/Hour
• Hours: 40 hours/week

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CCWSCSVCC, manufacturing and SolidWorks for mechanical design work
• Minimum 5 years of experience in making mechanical parts and assemblies
• Minimum 5 years of experience with machining techniques
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SolidWorks, capable of designing mechanical parts and assemblies, ordering parts, and assisting with assembly.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, fabrication, and assembly.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances
• Minimum 5 years of experience with ordering parts and working with suppliers.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in AUTOCAD, SAP PLM, self-starter, good work ethic, internal R&D for structural parts, FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
• Hands-on mechanical assembly experience
• Familiarity with SAP PLM system
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Attention to detail
