We:



  • Build and operate a suite of platforms and applications that prevent, detect, and mitigate regulatory and reputational risk across the firm.
  • Have access to the latest technology and to massive amounts of structured and unstructured data.
  • Leverage modern frameworks to build responsive and intuitive UX/UI and Big Data applications.


Compliance Engineering is looking to fill several software engineering roles

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

As a member of our team, you will:



  • Partner with engineering colleagues across multiple divisions to create end-to-end solutions,
  • Learn from experts,
  • Leverage various technologies including; Java, JSON, Protobuf, Elastic Search, Kafka, Kubernetes
  • Be able to innovate and incubate new ideas,
  • Have an opportunity to work on a broad range of problems, including building system integrations, negotiating data contracts, capturing metrics, setting up messaging bus, and developing microservices.



QUALIFICATIONS

A successful candidate will possess the following attributes:



  1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field of study.
  2. Expertise in Java, as well as proficiency with databases and data manipulation.
  3. The ability and tenacity to clearly express ideas and arguments in meetings and on paper.
  4. Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  5. Hands-on experience with RESTful services.
  6. Familiarity with ALM tools such as JIRA, GitHub, etc.
  7. Ability to understand existing software systems and troubleshoot issues.


Experience in the some of following is desired and can set you apart from other candidates:



  • Knowledge of typescript, GraphQL, Autosys and Kafka,
  • Data analysis using SQL queries,
  • API design and development to create interconnected services,
  • Knowledge of the financial industry and compliance or risk functions,
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
