Adult Career Navigator - $25.00 Per Hour

We help job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries. Our committed and well-trained workforce professionals deliver comprehensive workforce solutions at integrated career centers, sector-focused centers and community, and partner sites.

The salary for this position is $25.00 per hour / $52,000.00 per year.

* Provides case management with a focus on helping customers to prepare for employment that leads to self-sufficiency.

* Schedule and conduct workshops, webinars. and other classroom activities designed to prepare students for career pathways.

* Coordinate online learning activities; assigns appropriate courses related to individual employment plans and goals, and monitors progress

* Administer Pre/Post-test assessments per curriculum and course certification documented in various case management systems.

* Collaborate with area businesses, advisory groups, and agencies to encourage the further development of school-to-work opportunities.

* Pre-screen potential participants for program eligibility. Keep accurate tracking/notes regarding participant progress.

* Investigate and share ideas regarding post-secondary options and adult services and network with all appropriate community agencies and organizations.

* Develop rapport with participants in order to mutually explore career options and interests.

* Work with participants individually or in groups to problem solve employment issues.

* All other training and training management duties as assigned.

* Perform other duties as requested.

• Bachelor's Degree and/or a combination of education and experience can be considered with a minimum High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent.
• 3-5 years of instructional design and facilitation experience, preferably related to career preparation.
• Strong facilitation, public speaking, and guided learning background
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lead learning processes and relate to diverse populations
