This newly established role is designed to support the creation of a new capability within our organization. As a subject matter expert in this space, you will help to build the new Nestle USA Retail Paid Search Center of Excellence (COE). In collaboration with the Senior Manager, this role will leverage and build your strategic capabilities to drive continual excellence in retail paid search, optimize the retailer search ecosystem, and manage activations alongside our new Retail Search Agency of Record (AOR). You will also be building best practices and capabilities within our Marketing and Sales teams and embedding them into our everyday work at Nestle USA.

Your responsibilities will include delivering growth objectives, increasing performance of paid search at our top retailers, translating our brands' business goals, fostering collaboration across retail search channels to maximize outcomes, and optimize paid and organic search integration. In addition, the Retail Paid Search Manager will help advance our visibility to paid performance through continuing to enhance our reporting capabilities, to deliver best-in-class paid retail search results that deliver against our holistic commerce strategy.

This role can be based in our headquarters in Arlington VA or Solon OH in a hybrid schedule or New York remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of the Retail Paid Search Center of Excellence, driving the overall portfolio, category and brand strategy for retail paid search
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and internal/external stakeholders to translate high-level strategy into detailed, actionable brand- and retailer-specific search plans; and to determine the best way to integrate paid search within the broader omni-channel marketing mix
  • Comprehensive understanding around the effectiveness of eCommerce levers (Digital Shelf, Organic Search, Retail Paid Search, Shopper Marketing)
  • Manage the Retail Search AOR, by defining and tracking KPIs, keyword strategy, competitive research/auditing, campaign setup and management, and reporting of search media buys
  • Provide up-front guardrails and strategy to eCommerce teams within each Division to formulate and execute strategies that are congruent with business objectives and consumer behavior
  • Responsible for managing, executing, and optimizing Retail Paid Search investments with key RMN partners
  • Develop retail search frameworks, toolkits, case studies, trainings, and other educational content to continuously raise the bar across the Divisions
  • Establish and foster relationships with retail search platform partners to drive innovation and excellence in paid search strategy
  • Work with our Analytics teams to set thoughtful KPIs & benchmarks, deliver best-in-class reporting, and drive automation throughout the measurement & optimization process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail media or eCommerce, digital marketing, and/or media experience, with a focus on eRetail paid programming
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong understanding of retail media and marketing fundamentals, with deep insights into consumer behavior
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful retail paid search or eCommerce strategies
  • Extensive experience with retail media networks (e.g., Amazon, WMC, KAM, Instacart, Roundel, etc.) and management tools (e.g. Pacvue, Skai, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Data Impact, etc.)
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods or OTC brands is preferred
  • Comfort in ambiguous environment with an ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current with emerging technologies and trends
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The approximate pay range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
