JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

Regal Rexnord is seeking an energetic leader to lead logistics operations and optimization as Logistics Manager, supporting freight payment, reporting, claims, and carrier efficiency for our North American business. In this role, the individual will be responsible for leading a team, influencing decisions impacting logistics operations, and evolving operational effectiveness through continuous improvement processes, specifically as it relates to freight payment processes and reporting outputs. This leader will engage with other functional groups to support all tactical and strategic needs, ensuring expectations across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth (SQDCG) are met. As part of the corporate Logistics and Fulfillment team, the incumbent will also need to partner with peers to ensure corporate standardization exists. Opportunities to lead and/or participate in strategic projects focused on the long-term success of Regal Rexnord and the Logistics & Fulfillment network are available. Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of North American freight pay and reporting.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the business on best practices for freight payment.
  • Design and lead projects related to aligning the outputs of freight payment reporting and other data sources, including TMS, ERP, and 3PL systems.
  • Drive strategic decision-making with our internal business partners to enhance freight movement practices through improved efficiencies, informed by business intelligence derived from integrated data.
  • Lead and develop direct reporting teams through coaching, mentoring, and direct development activities.
  • Implement and execute best practices to reduce costs, enhance the customer experience, and drive business growth.
  • Ensure all required processes and procedures are in place to capture all freight spend and align with financial reporting accurately.
  • Leadand support changes within logistics to ensure the effective adoption ofre-engineered processes and systems.
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners and outside services to develop a comprehensive freight pay model to improve financial reporting and drive continuous improvement through output reporting.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs to include a full end-to-end process and documentation needed for freight payment resolution, claims, and other pertinent processes.
  • Maintain and analyze metrics to assess performance and identify improvements across the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Growth (SQDCG). Own the execution of project plans to ensure expected results.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze carrier scorecard metrics to drive Core Value Driver measurement and achievement. When necessary, lead prioritized problem-solving to achieve group goals.
  • Liaise with business (AMC) and work collaboratively to foster strong relationships across Regal Rexnord, including business segment Sales, Customer Service, Sourcing, HR, Manufacturing, and fulfillment. Be customer-centric with a bias towards action and improving the customer experience.
  • Act as a Logistics Subject Matter Expert, providing insights and recommendations to business segment leadership supporting business segment strategy and tactics. Solve complex problems by providing thought leadership and influencing skills.
  • Accountable for the complete talent development life cycle (hiring, coaching, mid-year / end-of-year performance evaluations, etc.) including improving employee engagement and ownership.
  • Champion the Regal Business System and serve as a strong role model for continuous improvement practitioners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • B.S. of B.A. required in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business and/or Operations.
  • 5+ years' experience with Ocean, Parcel, LTL, Truckload, freight forwarders, and US / International logistics.
  • Technical competency with core Logistics systems and processes (TMS, Spot Market, DOT, Import / Export Regulations, etc.). Previous freight invoice management preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage costs leveraging industry expertise, data and Lean processes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • Experience using data and analytics to measure, track and action KPI's with a bias towards action and urgency.
  • Experienced with transforming an organization into a high-performance team who is recognized as a collaborative business partner who provides solutions to enable success.
  • Experience representing the corporate logistics function during customer facing interactions and venues.
  • Success leading in a strong Continuous Improvement / Lean culture.
  • Demonstrated success building high performance teams.

Travel: Ability to travel 10 - 25% of the time.
