As our team continues to grow, we are excited to bring on an Assistant Buyer to support our dynamic buying team. *Position Summary:* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Buyer to join our team. This role is crucial in executing our seasonal buying strategy to achieve sales and gross margin goals. The Assistant Buyer will gather data, maintain reporting, and prepare documents, supporting various merchants and buyers. *Responsibilities:* * *Data Analysis (35%)*: Provide accurate data to enable teams to analyze current business trends and take action as needed. * *Seasonal Buys Support (30%)*: Assist buyers with seasonal buys from planning through execution by preparing documentation, collecting and analyzing data, and creating visual documentation. * *Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%)*: Participate in cross-functional meetings to gather key information and execute merchandising decisions. * *Product Catalog Creation (10%)*: Create product catalogs to support seasonal strategy for leadership product reviews and retail stores. * *Order Management (5%)*: Upload orders and reconcile seasonal buys. * *Additional Duties (5%)*: Perform other duties as assigned. *Additional Requirements:* * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLookups and XLookups) * Solid understanding of the retail industry and specific metrics used * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent presentation skills * Illustrator experience preferred * Ability to travel (may require domestic, international, and/or overnight travel) *Skills:* * Purchasing, purchase order, procurement, supply chain, data entry, inventory, Excel data entry, order entry, retail, Illustrator, CAD, Buyer Purchasing, ERP, SAP, Vendor Management, Buying Purchasing, Logistics, Planner *Experience Level:* * Intermediate - Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
