Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Commercial Furniture Interior Designer for a contract-to-hire position through TEKsystems. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members to create inspiring office spaces. This role is customer-facing, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively understand and meet client needs. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for interior design and a drive to create exceptional work environments. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for office spaces. * Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval. * Create detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications for office interiors. * Select and source commercial furniture, materials, and accessories. * Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to ensure project success. * Manage project timelines and budgets. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in commercial office design. * Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the design process. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field. * Proven experience as an Interior Designer specializing in commercial furniture and office spaces. * Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or CET Designer. * Strong portfolio showcasing previous office design projects. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics. * Experience in a customer-facing role, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. * A genuine passion for interior design and a commitment to creating exceptional work environments. Work Hours: * First shift, Monday through Friday. * Initially in-office every day, with the potential to transition to a hybrid work model. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
