Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, specifically within the healthcare industry. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely payroll for our dedicated staff.
Key Responsibilities: * Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. * Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, deductions, and benefits. * Collaborate with HR and finance departments to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies. * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. * Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings as required. * Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support. * Stay updated on industry trends and changes in payroll regulations. Qualifications: * Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, with at least 1 year of experience processing payroll for per diem staff. * Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Experience processing payroll for per diem staff. * Strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Details: * Pay: $25 - $27/hr. based on related experience * Pay cycle - weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered * Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7-hour shift within the hours of operation (8:00am - 5:00pm). 35 hours per week. * Onsite position: Monday - Friday. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
