Location- This position will be based in our Modesto Corporate Headquarters building with an option for occasional telecommuting. You will be expected to live within a commutable distance.

In this dynamic role, you will work directly with product and engineering teams, overseeing day-to-day activities, execution, story development, and the implementation of our solutions. Your focus will be on meeting the needs of both internal and external customers through comprehensive product management, from development to support.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will lead a team of associate software/product managers and business systems analysts in designing and developing software products. You will be responsible for the global deployment and support of products, including Microsoft M365, Intune, mobility management, computer imaging, application and patch management, asset inventory, and printers. Leveraging ServiceNow, you will automate workflows and manage applications and devices, ensuring business and technical continuity across IT.

Your role involves prioritizing product delivery and deployment dates, understanding business needs, collecting requirements, and translating them into functional specifications for data engineering. You will maintain a deep understanding of the supported product area, focusing on delivering efficiencies and meaningful impact. You will own technical product delivery for multi-functional projects, actively identifying and resolving issues to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

You will manage the planning and development of new and existing business applications/products, overseeing coding, testing, debugging, documentation, maintenance, and installation. Working with cross-functional teams, you will ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluate performance, and transition products from development to commercialization. You will create and deliver product roadmaps, align technology and architectural roadmaps with business goals, and act as a customer liaison on technical issues.

Your responsibilities will include leading major releases, ensuring feature enhancements, managing schedules, monitoring emerging technologies, and overseeing vendor management and contract renewals. You will ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety regulations, and contribute to troubleshooting and resolution efforts.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of IT experience to include software development or product analyst experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of technical product management or product ownership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma plus 9 years of IT experience to include software development or product management experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 1 year of experience leading software/product engineer/development or business systems analyst teams.
  • Knowledge of waterfall and agile software methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience explaining complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences to influence outcomes.
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proven experience establishing strong working relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of IT experience to include software development or product analyst reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of technical product management or product ownership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma plus 11 years of IT experience to include software development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to understand broader strategy and develop proactive solutions.
  • Product knowledge within specific product domain.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and coding/programming.
  • Ability to independently apply product management best practices.
  • Experience influencing and gaining the support of key stakeholders.
  • If Supporting Content Delivery:
  • Previous experience implementing, supporting, and/or enhancing Digital Asset Management (DAM) Systems, in particular Sitecore Content Hub.
  • Previous experience implementing, supporting, and/or enhancing Product Information (PIM) Management, in particular Salsify PIM.
  • Previous experience managing the flow of digital content (images, video, audio, documents, copy) from the point of creation to the point of consumption by stakeholders.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and handling large enterprise renewals (i.e. Microsoft Enterprise Agreement).

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $147,300 - $220,900 Annually Plus 10% bonus potential
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
