About the role:

Customer to Cash Simplification is a global initiative aimed at transforming our customer journey through strong partnerships with functional and commercial teams. This approach will enhance BSC's digital capabilities, provide comprehensive customer insights, and unlock efficiency opportunities for future growth. Simplification will be achieved through improvements in data, processes, technology, and people.

As the Program Manager for Customer to Cash Simplification, you will be pivotal in delivering this business transformation across all company functions, divisions, and regions. Reporting to the VP of Customer to Cash Simplification, you will collaborate with leaders, process owners, communities of practice, and stakeholders across the BSC matrix. Your role will involve planning and executing activities across various initiatives and stakeholders.

This role is essential for executing and delivering initiatives across global Commercial regions, ensuring all global functions are informed and involved. You will join a team responsible for developing processes to support this transformation. We seek a change leader motivated to optimize our delivery methodology using agile, lean design thinking, and project management best practices.

Your responsibilities include:



  • Take shared responsibility and accountability for the successful planning and execution of the global C2C simplification program.
  • Governance - shared responsibility for effective governance.
  • Lead & facilitate through mapping workshops, Kaizen events to identify and prioritise opportunities and next steps.
  • Value Realization - identify transformational opportunities to be delivered for tracking via BSC VIP
  • Program and Team Risk Management - identify potential project risks and define appropriate actions to mitigate, escalating to program leadership where appropriate.
  • Program / Team Metrics - support program oversight of individual team performance and drive a culture of accountability across the program.
  • Special projects - lead surge projects in key areas of risk or performance issues, drive process improvements as an outcome of lessons learned, and other key project management needs.
  • Defining Project Goals and Scope: Identify the objectives and deliverables of the project, ensuring that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of what needs to be achieved.
  • Planning and Documenting Tasks: They create detailed project plans, outlining the tasks, timelines, and resources required. This includes setting milestones and deadlines to keep to roadmap.
  • Managing Resources: Support capacity plans to best manage resources.
  • Effective Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between Magellan and Business teams, ensuring that everyone is informed about progress and any issues that arise.
  • Map stakeholders, establish networks & communities, connect, mobilize & influence for engagement & collaboration. Create understanding, set expectations, sense of purpose & vision.
  • Driving responsibility, accountability & ownership of actionable items across a range of topics, solving problems and driving to speedy decision making and / or escalations as needed.
  • Act as a change leader, simplify the language and storytelling with change management at core.
  • Navigate eliminating waste, creating flow & efficiency across processes, data, technologies & people



What we are looking for:



  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Science or applicable field required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years technical professional or operational experience in medical device field required.
  • 5+ years of PMO experience.
  • Previous leadership experience across the BSC network or the management of large change programs, ideally technology or systems environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and the broader Application Ecosystem, combined with knowledge of key data & business processes.
  • Courage to make decisions for the best interest of global BSC even if it means reasonable compromise for a local team.
  • Proven adaptability, comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment. Demonstrates effective change leadership.
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish credibility.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
  • Demonstrated capability in collaborating and influencing across a matrixed organization
  • Keeps the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
  • Builds strategic partnerships to gain further alignment of program goals and outcomes.
  • Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.

Maximum Salary: $243000

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
