POSITION TITLE

Strategic Account Manager - OVIK Health

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated sales professional with a minimum of 2-3 years hospital, wound care or DME sales experience to join our team. The Strategic Account Manager will be managing current and new business within outpatient wound care centers, inpatient wound care, burn and DME. This role entails strategic account selection, product strategy & demonstrations and providing customer service and clinical education to produce revenue growth. Customer visits, virtual presentations and building relationships are essential in this role. This position requires significant travel (60-70%) including occasional weekly overnight travel. This position should be based in the Upper Midwest, near a major city & airport and is a multi-state territory.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for revenue growth numbers assigned to the territory
  • Identify, foster, and develop KOL's with assigned territory
  • Foster, maintain and grow relationships with existing and new customers to position our product portfolio for growth as well as new product introductions
  • Provide market intel to the management team regarding sales performance, competitive activities, and key customer/market developments
  • Timely submission of essential business reports as noted by manager, including updating our CRM and actively engaging and communicating across team and the organization
  • Participate in trainings, educational workshops, and challenging opportunities for enhancing business and career growth
  • Develop and execute on targeted call plan with manager and record activities in CRM
  • Support senior sales team on strategies and lead generating efforts
  • Attend regional and national medical conferences
  • Organize and conduct in-services with customers, utilizing clinical support team as necessary
  • Collaborate with teammates by providing updates on the market, feedback and sharing of best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2-3 years sales experience preferred in the Advanced Wound Care Market (not required) - preferred experience with an AWC supplier or DME
  • Experience with hospitals, wound care centers and product in-servicing - preferred experience in IDN management
  • Territory & Pipeline (CRM) Management skills needed
  • High level of planning, organizational, critical thinking and problem solving needed.
  • Ability to effectively establish and manage customer relationships - preferred experience with building clinical relationships (KOL development)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to present virtually to customers and be productive in these activities
  • Seeing customers weekly in-person is needed so experience in the ability to manage travel logistics as well as have productive customer interactions.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for commissions as part of total compensation.
