PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The Subcontract Coordinator I plays a vital role in supporting the administration of contracts within Worley's diverse and dynamic projects. Working under direct supervision, this position gathers and compiles data essential for the administration of contracts, assisting with procedures to ensure the smooth execution of projects and services. The role contributes to the overall success of our sustainability-focused initiatives by facilitating the implementation of contracts and managing subcontractor relationships effectively. - Assist in gathering and compiling essential data for the administration of contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- Under direct supervision, coordinate or monitor the completion of administrative tasks to support contract management.
- Participate in the proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration processes, assisting senior team members with customer interactions and ensuring contract terms are met.
- Support the identification, solicitation, and selection of reliable contractors for services, equipment, materials, and products critical to project execution.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with contractors, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Monitor contractor performance and service delivery to ensure that objectives are met, and contribute to the evaluation of contractor effectiveness.
- Facilitate the payment process by providing necessary approvals and supporting documentation to ensure the required services are delivered to both Worley and its clients.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, ensuring seamless coordination of contract administration efforts across the team.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET
- A University Degree or equivalent in a related field or applicable discipline is required. Alternatively, equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- A foundational understanding of contract administration principles and practices, ideally with exposure to procurement, project management, or subcontract coordination processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey basic information to peers, stakeholders, and supervisors.
- Ability to work under close supervision, following detailed instructions and receiving regular feedback to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Basic understanding of systems, processes, and tools relevant to subcontract coordination and contract administration, with a focus on supporting projects aligned with sustainability goals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and maintain proper documentation for subcontractor relationships and contracts.
- A collaborative team player, open to learning and development within a structured work environment while contributing to the company's mission of delivering sustainable change.
