PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Material Controller II plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of materials and equipment for Worley's projects. This position involves reviewing blueprints and specifications to determine material needs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with engineering and procurement teams. The role is instrumental in supporting the company's mission of delivering sustainable energy, chemical, and resource solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Review engineering blueprints and product specifications to determine material requirements.
  • Maintain an accurate materials control system to support construction, installation, and operational needs.
  • Ensure proper receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment to maintain efficiency on-site.
  • Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to manage material requirements and updates.
  • Identify inventory gaps and recommend solutions to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving material-related issues to prevent project delays.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth material flow.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of materials management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documents and specifications.
  • Experience in inventory management, procurement coordination, and materials control.
  • Proficiency in materials control systems, processes, and relevant software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address material-related challenges.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in the energy, chemicals, or resources sector is advantageous.
