Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP ISU FICO Functional Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Location: Bethpage, NY. Work from home - Hybrid.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Functional Architect with experience in SAP FICO, and the ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Energy Supply and Trading as well as Utilities. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of technical and domain skills to drive impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the design and implementation of SAP FICO solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Coordinate the integration of SAP FICO with other modules and external systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on standard processes for SAP FICO configuration and customization.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure the alignment of SAP FICO solutions with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of SAP FICO solutions to ensure quality and performance.
  • Solve complex issues related to SAP FICO functionality.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SAP FICO processes and configurations.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on SAP FICO standard processes and methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
  • Provide support during system upgrades and enhancements to minimize disruption.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by delivering high-quality SAP FICO solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess a solid background in SAP FICO with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Energy Supply and Trading as well as Utilities domains.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration customization and integration.
  • Solid grasp of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP FICO trends and technologies.
  • Be capable of leading and mentoring junior team members.
  • Exhibit strong documentation skills for maintaining process and configuration records.
  • Show a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that drive business success.
  • Proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:

SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting with SAP ERP SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $159,000 - $215,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
