Portfolio Finance Manager Job Description - We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Finance manager (Strategic Operations) with a strong background in finance to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Opex/Capex activities while ensuring financial oversight and control. This position requires a combination of project management expertise and financial expertise to effectively manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Budget Management - Tracking and Managing budget allocations, forecasts, and actuals
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop, monitor, and update project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting for ongoing projects, including budget tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets and financial plans.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies where necessary.
- Support the development and implementation of project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between project teams, finance departments, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide training and guidance to project managers on financial management and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Strategic Operations resource with a strong financial background.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in project management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
