JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Cambro Product Manager is a hands-on strategic thinker who develops, manages, and executes global product line strategies and supports new product development. The manager leads high-priority projects in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment to drive results aligned with company objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* {Develop Product Marketing Plans and related positioning strategies to support new product launches, product improvements, marketing campaigns, and trade shows. Manages product life cycle from cradle to grave.

* Lead cross-functional collaboration with teams including sales, marketing, new product development, engineering, supply chain, quality, accounting, and logistics to ensure successful product launches and attainment of business growth targets.

* Acts as the product expert and voice of the customer; is the point person for segment-related trade associations and industry groups; attends trade shows andkeeps current on product and industry trends.

* Responsible for strategic planning and project management, including financial budget responsibility for products and segments managed.

* Conducts detailed market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs and competitive activities for new products, product improvements, and product line extensions. Develops product requirements in partnership with sales and product development teams to gain cross-functional alignment. Identifies customers for product testing and manages customer testing process and requirements.

* Analyze new and existing products to ensure sales opportunities and market share are maximized and sales goals are being achieved. Monitor brand performance, product line competitiveness and operator trends to develop and adapt strategies within the market.

* Develop and conduct product training for sales, customers and in-house teams via in person, virtual training, webinars and online training modules for new product launches as well as existing product categories.

* Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with members on cross-functional teams.

* Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual, and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.

* Execute each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.

* Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.

* Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.

* Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.

* Follow all department quality standards/criteria. Raise concerns and issues to immediate manager.

* Able to understand and demonstrate Cambro company culture, display company core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service).

* Understands department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.

* Other duties as needed or required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of Product Management experience and at least 2 years experience leading teams.

* Excellent project management and organizational skills; must be able to take ownership of a project and manage through obstacles.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills required, skilled in technical writing.

* Ability to handle heavy workloads and changing priorities; solve practical problems and effectively deal with a variety of variables.

* Excellent presentation skills to large and small groups; enthusiastic, passionate, and persuasive.

* Ability to develop, manage, and adhere to a budget.

* Strong analytical and forecasting skills.

* Must accept the ability to accept and give constructive feedback.

* Strong computer skills including Power BI

* Overnight travel is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Foodservice experience is highly desirable.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$90,000 - $120,000

Salary may vary based on experience.
