The Quality Vehicle Systems Engineer is integrated into a dynamic and diverse team responsible for acceptance testing of prototype tracked and wheeled military vehicles, including main battle tanks and armored personnel carriers. Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Role
- Determine & evaluate test requirements
- Develop & revise acceptance test procedures
- Conduct vehicle verification checkouts to establish baseline of test assets
- Execute functional acceptance test procedures
- Document status of testing compliances and deficiencies
- Communicate test results to internal and external customers as required
- Support other areas of Engineering Quality Assurance as needed/directed
- Support Engineering IPTs to ensure product assurance of XM30
Qualifications Sought
- Engineering degree preferred; Associate Degree with significant technical experience also considered
- 3 to 5 years of experience required
- Must be a U.S. Person (i.e., a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)
- Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official college or university transcript from their school before their first day of employment.
- Must pass ASR to enter military vehicles
Additional Information / Desired Experience
