*This role requires up to 50% travel to MD, MI, MS, and NC

The Advanced Manufacturing Manager will lead the development and execution of strategies to leverage technological advancements, optimize manufacturing processes, and drive performance within the Siding Products Group. This role will be responsible for aligning the team's activities with key business objectives to drive cost savings, deliver measurable business benefits, and achieve a strong return on investment. This includes conceptualizing, standardizing, and implementing technology, tools, and data analytics to streamline processes, close operational gaps, and leverage data to improve product quality and productivity. This role will lead the Advanced Manufacturing team to drive the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, AI, predictive maintenance, and IoT to deliver results and transform culture. The candidate will stay current with emerging trends and ensure the company adopts relevant innovations. This role will oversee large-scale projects including new technology deployments, data analytics, and process improvements, ensuring alignment with Industry 4.0 strategies and CAPEX planning.

Essential duties include:

* Lead the design and execution of advanced manufacturing strategies to sustainably enhance productivity, reduce cost, and improve consistency of product quality leveraging leading edge industry 4.0 technology

* Develop automation strategies that align with business long range planning

* Collaborate with plants and functions to align business objectives to I4.0 priorities

* Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

* Collaborate with IT, RPG, and IPG to benchmark and implement advancements in reliability and 4.0

* Monitor current trends and the newest technologies and consider their application to SPG

* Other duties as assigned

Is this job for you ?

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (electrical, chemical, mechanical, industrial) or similar discipline required

* Minimum 10 years of applied professional experience leading and facilitating engineering initiatives in a manufacturing environment required

* Minimum 3 years of people management experience

* Demonstrated business acumen with an ability to understand and identify improvement opportunities that will provide financial benefit to the business

* Experience designing and deploying various digital tools such as ERP, MES, and BI systems

* A strong understanding of digital technologies, data analysis skills, agility and adaptability, a collaborative and team-oriented approach, fostering innovation, strong communication skills, the ability to empower employees, and a focus on continuous learning and upskilling to navigate the rapidly changing technological landscape

To make sure nothing is forgotten

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. The national pay range for this position is $111,000 to $177,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The total target cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,650 to $203,550.
