University Testing Center: The University Testing Center serves UCF students and the Central Florida community with high-security proctored testing services, including a wide variety of placement, proficiency, entrance, and exit exams for undergraduate and graduate programs, foreign language exams, distance learning, and many professional certification exams. The Opportunity: This is a temporary assignment not to exceed one year of service. The University Testing Center (UTC) is seeking a full-time employee (40 hours per week) to perform a vital role within the department administering and proctoring standardized exams. UTC provides testing services to currently enrolled UCF students, students from other institutions, and community members to help them achieve their academic and personal potential. There are over 12,000 tests administered annually. Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Preferred Qualifications:
Special Instructions to the Applicants: 1. May not be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at time of employment. 2. Candidates who intend to take any standardized test administered by UTC in the next 12 months are not eligible for this position. 3. Must obtain all certifications required for test administration within 3 months of employment. 4. Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. 5. Ability to travel between campus and testing locations. 6. This is an in-person position, but the selected applicant must have the ability to work remotely if required.
