As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will direct and manage the day-to-day efforts of the Warehouse employees to ensure the efficient management and supply of materials in order to guarantee the necessary resources for the execution of the production schedule. Enforce and promote all company guidelines, policies and good manufacturing practices pertaining to all facets of the business, not limited to and including food safety and health & safety.

This position is for 2nd shift - 12pm to 8pm. This position may require weekends or a 12 hour shift during peak season. You will need to be flexible with hours if you need to come in earlier or stay after to help cover for last minute call offs.

  Support and coordinate incoming materials and out-bound product

  Support inventory coordinator with W2W and cycle counts

  Ensure effective cross communication between shifts.

  Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.

  
  
• 
  

  Forecast crewing needs and work with labor scheduling to ensure staffing needs are met

  
  
• 
  

  Leads by example and trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervised

  
  
• 
  

  Responsible for the hygiene and sanitation compliance of the Warehouse area;

  
  
• 
  

  Guarantee compliance with health & safety regulations not limited to and including the assigned area;

  
  
• 
  

  Accurate health & safety incident/accident reporting

  
  
• 
  

  Work with employees to achieve zero safety infractions/accidents

  
  
• 
  

  Responsible for working within guidelines of all applicable aspects of food safety program

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain safety programs and all required safety training for warehouse employees

  
  
• 
  

  Supervise qualified personnel to ensure optimal production in the warehouse

  
  
• 
  

  Work with labor schedulers to coordinate work schedule appropriately, monitor absenteeism and document due to (vacations) and unscheduled (illnesses) and ensure proper coverage;

  Perform employee productivity evaluations and recommend necessary changes to increase efficiency to Management.

  
  
• 
  

  Identify and propose areas of improvement for the activities falling within his competence

  Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a team up to 25 employees

  
  
• 
  

  Experience with SAP (WMS) Warehouse Management System

  
  
• 
  

  Previous experience in a Warehouse environment is an asset

  
  
• 
  

  Strong communications skills in a multi-cultural environment

  
  
• 
  

  Ability to manage Warehouse/Production employees in a proactive and positive manner and coach and motivate the team

  Ability to make sound business decisions in a fast paced and demanding work environment

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
