Position Summary:

As the Production Performance Manager, you will have complete accountability and autonomy to develop and execute the improvement strategy for your packaging production area. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and foster a culture of continuous improvement. By nurturing the competences of both individuals and teams, you will ensure the flawless execution of critical standards, driving excellence in every aspect. Empowering your team and cultivating a mindset of continuous improvement will be at the core of your leadership approach. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading development of the team to provide appropriate skills and flexibility of workforce to suit current and future needs aligned to business goals, using tools such as coaching, competence matrices and development plans.
  • Coaching, training and assessing to ensure the right competence and capability of the team
  • Ensure the rigorous application of standards and methodologies, driving autonomy and accountability at the lowest level.
  • Ensure the quality of the data in the systems (consumptions, Nominal Speed, and Stoppages classification)
  • Analyze safety, quality, stoppages and material losses, prioritize and define an improvement plan with different stakeholders.
  • Working with the Line Performance Management team and Engineering to coordinate and prioritize resource to achieve production and maintenance plans with quality execution of TPM and 7 Key Standard Routines.
  • Leading and coaching operational reviews to drive and embed a continuous improvement mind-set to support the achievement of the Operational Master Plan.
  • Creating strategies and priorities for the lines to deliver the drivers for the OMP in all key areas - SHE, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations and Cost.
  • Support Production Supervisor on the capabilities and succession plan for operator and line leads.
  • Lead improvement projects - OSL - Operations Start-Up Lead for capital investments
  • Manage trials
  • Back-up of the Production Manager
  • Achieve a "zero injury, defect, waste" mindset & promote behaviours that have a positive impact on Safety Health Environment & Quality. Promote and manage risk awareness by engaging and coaching the teams
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of factory through effective employee and industrial relations managemen

Education and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree a plus.
  • Minimum 3+ years previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally, preferably in a food/pharma industry. Managerial experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership capability and operational management experience.
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills
  • Displaying strong initiative and drive for continuous improvement with a natural coaching & development style and a genuine interest in people development.
  • Experience using Continuous Improvement methodologies (GSTD, DMAIC, PDCA).
  • Experience with TPM implementation a plus
  • Exhibiting exceptional negotiations and influence skills,ability to effectively navigate complex situations and drive successful outcomes through persuasive communication and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience with Standard implementation, adherence monitoring, and ability to challenge the norm.
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Proficiency on Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
  • Knowledge of SAP and DMO a plus

Theapproximate payrange for this position is $110,000to $120,000 note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
