Name of Employer: Job Title: Associate Principal, Software Engineering: DevOps Location: 9111 Cypress Waters Blvd., Suite 400, Dallas, TX 75019 Duties: Provide subject matter expertise for ongoing support of applications deployed to OCC's non-production AWS environments and support third party applications. Identify root causes and automate solutions in support of development. Develop and implement DevOps strategies and best practices to enhance development, testing, and deployment processes. Support the lower environments for incident and problem management. Resolve complex support issues in non-production environments. Develop automation scripts for artifact cleanup in JFrog to streamline maintenance processes and improve system efficiency and automated GitHub repository creation to enhance version control workflows. Deploy containerized applications on AWS for DEV/UAT/PROD environments using Terraform, ensuring validation and handover to respective teams. Manage Kubernetes clusters using Rancher, including cluster provisioning and scaling. Understand Cloud Native applications running on Kubernetes within AWS. Create procedural and troubleshooting documentation related to Cloud native application. Develop and implement DevOps strategies by integrating tools such as Kubernetes for infrastructure, Kafka for data streaming, and Rancher for cluster management to streamline, automate and secure the entire DevOps lifecycle. Up to 40% telecommuting permitted. *This position qualifies for The Options Clearing Corporation's Employee Referral Program.* Education & Experience Required: Master's degree in CS, CIS or related and three (3) years of experience as a DevOps engineer or related. In lieu of a master's degree plus three (3) years of experience, will accept a bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience in the same fields.
