The incumbent will perform advance perfusionist techniques and provide lead operational support for other perfusionist in the department. Participates in maintaining the care delivery systems to meet patient care needs. Functions within policies and procedures of the hospital and within the legal framework of the state. Performs advanced operational duties anddifficult cases requiring special training in addition to performing the normal range of duties. Participates in equipment evaluation and procurement; supports the maintenance of records pertaining to equipment use. Participates in formal training as needed to perform advanced technical work in the selection, preparation, operation, and maintenance of thecardiopulmonary bypass and ancillary equipment. Provides routine and specialized patient care services by maintaining knowledge of utilizing technical perfusion equipment in cardiac surgery, as well as, other circulatory support devices. Performs other related duties as required. Depending on experience, the selected candidate will be hired at the Sr. Perfusionist level or Principal Perfusionist level.
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $199,300 - $247,804 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $95.45 - $118.68 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
