We are looking for a Waterjet Operator for our South Windsor site.

Job Summary: Program, Set-up and operation of waterjet machine on 1st shift Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Major Responsibilities & Activities:

• Program, set-up and operation of OMAX waterjet machine.
• Understanding capabilities of machine in order to maximize output.
• Develop process to achieve better finished parts with cycle time reduction.
• Ability to check dimensions of finished parts using standard measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Routine and preventive maintenance including equipment checks.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have demonstrated mechanical ability.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, work instructions and customer requirements.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Knowledge of OMAX Waterjet machine a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical background
• Waterjet and CNC Machining knowledge a plus
