Snowflake is seeking an Industry Principal, Media, Entertainment & Advertising - Advertising Technology to join our Industry team. In this role, you will work with our Field Sales teams to develop and close new business across AdTech accounts within the Advertising Technology sub-vertical which is inclusive of data, hygiene, and identity partners; ad servers, demand side platforms, and supply side platforms, and media networks.

You will act as a visionary, innovative industry expert and apply your successful track record of overseeing and developing enterprise software strategies for leading Advertising Technology customers.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:
  • Develop account strategies, foster relationships and present Snowflake's vision for the industry to our most strategic Advertising Technology accounts

  • Develop strategic relationships across the Advertising Technology ecosystem including customers, partners, data providers and MarTech & AdTech platforms

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and drive a cohesive Advertising Technology go-to-market strategy

  • Collaborate with our product teams to deliver industry-specific capabilities and drive Snowflake's advertising technology product vision into the market, including client specific native applications that include DCR functionality

  • Partner with product marketing teams to drive industry awareness and pipeline development within the Advertising Technology space

  • Collaborate with partner and alliance teams to identify, recruit and enable industry-specific system integrators and technology partners in the AdTech industry

  • Develop industry thought leadership content on the business impact of the Data Cloud in the Advertising Technology space

  • Deliver industry-leading perspectives at industry events to create understanding of and excitement for the tangible benefits of Data Cloud among AdTech leaders

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
  • 15+ years of industry experience selling, consulting or implementing technology for the Adtech industry.

  • Expertise across a wide set of advertising technologies including data and identity solutions, ad servers, DSPs, and SSP; as well as measurement solutions.

  • Well-versed in the key challenges and opportunities impacting Advertising Technology including privacy regulations, signal loss, omnichannel marketing and the unification of adtech and martech stacks in the cloud.

  • Experience with C-level engagement and proven ability to quickly establish credibility

  • Undergraduate degree (advanced degree preferred)

  • Senior leadership experience with ability to build followership through trust vs. authority

  • Strong problem-solving and team motivation skills

  • A results-oriented mindset and crisp communication style

  • Ability to travel

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $261,000 - $372,700.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
