Job Summary

The Solutions Architect, under direct supervision, is responsible for designing and implementing robust and scalable solutions that meet the organization's technology requirements. The role requires a deep understanding of business needs, technical expertise, and the ability to architect complex systems. The role collaborates closely with stakeholders, including business leaders and IT professionals, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and analyzes existing systems, identifies opportunities for improvement, and designs solutions that align with the organization's goals and industry best practices.

Job Responsibilities



  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translates them into effective and scalable IT solutions that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Supports in the design of end-to-end solutions that encompass the entire IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and databases, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
  • Conducts comprehensive analysis and evaluation of existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement, propose innovative solutions, and optimize overall performance.
  • Leads the development of architectural blueprints, solution designs, and technical documentation to guide the implementation and maintenance of IT systems within the insurance company.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and cybersecurity specialists, to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of solutions, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Stays updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the insurance company's IT infrastructure, and recommending strategic investments in new technologies.
  • Conducts thorough risk assessments and proposes risk mitigation strategies to ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of IT solutions with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to project teams, addressing technical challenges, resolving issues, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborates with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate, select, and integrate external solutions and services that complement the company's IT infrastructure and meet business requirements.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on technology trends, best practices, and opportunities to leverage IT solutions for competitive advantage within the insurance industry.



Job Qualifications



  • 2-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Architecture domain or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and/or commensurate experience.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.



Location

Hybrid defined as three (3) or more days per week in the office.
