Through our four business groups, DRiV, Performance Solutions, Clean Air and Powertrain, Tenneco is driving advancements in global mobility by delivering technology solutions for diversified global markets, including light vehicle, commercial truck, off-highway, industrial, motorsport and the aftermarket. The Purchasing Analyst role will be based in Southfield, MI and will report directly into our Global DRiV Purchasing Director. The main objective of this position is to increase the efficiency of our procurement initiatives through fact-based tracking and analytics. This position will support all levels of our Purchasing organization with project management and data analysis. There will be both structured work expectations and ad hoc requests. The ability to manage through ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast paced and dynamic work environment-to be flexible to the needs of the global team with minimal direction -is key to the success of the Analyst and the broader team. This role will partner with suppliers, engineering, and supply chain among other cross-functional team members to ensure successful project execution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
