Intercollegiate Athletics - Women's Basketball Job Description
The University of Missouri's Women's Basketball Program is seeking a Director of Operations. Reporting to the Head Coach, this individual will be responsible for: Directing and executing all Basketball team travel plans for away competitions, to include air and ground transportation, lodging, team meetings and practice schedules. Monitoring and serving as the liaison with athletics compliance office on all NCAA/Conference rules and guidelines as they pertain to the recruitment process. Maintaining current records in compliance for all countable athletically-related activities, awards and summer employment. Directing and assisting on campus recruitment visits for prospective student-athletes. Coordinating all public relations activities and community service events that require presence of coaching staff and/or student athletes. Planning, preparing, and monitoring of the budget. Assisting with various program related items as needed. Adhering to NCAA, SEC, and University regulations. Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Prior Women's Basketball experience is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
